Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha well-known by her stage name and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular when she was cast as a character in "Doctor Who.' This British television show based on science fiction can be seen on BBC. Gugu earned a significant amount of recognition for her role as Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the show. Gugu's viewers loved her spontaneity and she was already in the process of establishing the long-term success of her acting career. Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on 25 February 1975. She was one of the six children who were youngest. Her mother was a domestic worker, while her father was an auto dealer. Her mother is a German who immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in the year 1989. The woman died ten years later, after fighting the cancer. Handler was brought up Reform Judaism by her father and grandfather, who were Jewish. Handler was raised in a pleasant neighborhood and she had a very joyful childhood. Handler moved to Los Angeles when she was aged 19 in order to pursue acting. In order to support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler at the time was 21 made the decision to specialize in stand-up comedy full time after discovering her storytelling skills. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving poorly, a reality show with concealed cameras and practical jokes. The show was on the air from 2002 to 2005. The actress began appearing in various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also a an associate on The Tonight Show. The biggest break for Handler came in 2006, when she began hosting her show on E! called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for two seasons. The next year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. Stand-up performance by Handler has been shown on VH1 and Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO. She was named as the host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. She became only the second female hosting the VMA's post Roseanne Barr.
